Coaching

2020 Training:

Whether it is your first attempt at a specific distance or you are an experienced runner looking to achieve personal records, our group training offers you the opportunity to focus on your goals while surrounded with the support of a team.  The group trains with the same methodology, but your plan is individualized for you and your goals.

Virtual Series Programs

  • *$30 for Head for the Hills, $40 for Making Spirits Bright OR $65 for both 
  • *Weekly workouts sent via email 
  • *Private Facebook group for accountability and camaraderie
  • *Access to Coach Anabel for questions and advice

Head for the Hills, September 21st-October 25th (Five weeks)

+Ten percent of registration fees from this program will be donated to the American Red Cross to aid families affected by the devastating wildfires.

As the leaves change and we welcome the fall season, let’s drop our GPS and get back to basics. Join us for five weeks of time based hill workouts. These sessions will build strength and endurance, while removing the self-imposed pressure of pace goals. 

Making Spirits Bright, November 9th-December 20th

Have some fun, and stay active, as we welcome the holiday season. Six weeks of workouts, including virtual yoga and pilates classes, all partnered with amazing product giveaways. You don’t want to miss this holiday cheer from: Ciele Athletics, Koala Clip, Split Nutrition, Bombas, and Portland Running Company.

Kick Start Program

Looking to start a NEW running habit or to return to running after a break or injury? Our Kick Start program is just for you! Eight Weeks to focus on rebuilding your running routin, establishing running fitness and preparing you to start or return to a run training program.

Individual and Team Relay Training 2021

Preparing for a Relay event can be daunting! Take all the guess work out of your training and join us for our Relay Training Season. Be the best teammate you can be by being prepared to run all your mileage strong and confident! Relays on the horizon that SWRC is preparing for: Rogue Relay, Cascade Lake Relay, Ragnar Trail (Oregon) and Hood to Coast.

Don’t see your goal list on our schedule?  It is okay!  Our certified and experienced RRCA and USTAF running coaches can help you reach your goals for any race – 5k to Ultra distance.  We work with both new and experienced runners and can develop a comprehensive plan that is made for YOU with YOUR goals in mind.
